Don’t forget to join me Sunday, August 2 at 1pm EST for Middle Ground‘s digital book festival! It’s a free virtual event featuring authors, educators, librarians, and book lovers. From Saturday, August 1, through Sunday, August 2, they will provide free virtual panels for all to attend that will be available on YouTube at their designated times.
Their schedule is now live and you can view it here.
Briana McDonald, the debut author of Pepper’s Rules for Secret Sleuthing, will be joined by Kit Rosewater (The Derby Daredevils), A.J. Sass (Ana on the Edge), Nicole Melleby (Hurricane Season, In the Role of Brie Hutchens…), Mark Oshiro (Anger is a Gift, The Insiders), and Maulik Pancholy (The Best at It) to discuss queer themes in middle grade books.
I’m very excited and I hope you are, too!
